This was without a doubt one of the most fun shoots to do. In 2019 West Edmonton Mall approached us to write a concept for a winter campaign to drive Fantasyland Hotel gift card sales. What we came up with was a simple tagline with endless creative possibilities – ‘Don’t be that Gifter!’. From that base idea we worked in tandem with the WEM creative team to develop a half-dozen scripts around the tagline. At the end of the day, we chose the best three to put into production, including this one!
