As my first short film, Road from Ruin was a rollercoaster ride I won’t soon forget. In 2018 I set out on a personal mission to try my hand at narrative screenwriting. During this period I wanted to explore the relationship between a distant father and son, and what happens when their lives are upended due to a tragic accident they witness. So, in mid 2019 we were granted some funding to produce the film, and off we went! Despite long shoot days and some grueling conditions, the cast and crew of this crazy little movie fought through it all and came out on the other side.
